BEAST MODE, The new norm.
In short basically giving total focus to what you are doing at any given time. Why BEAST MODE is so important is because it compliments failure so well.
BEAST MODE gives you the ability to get to failure that much more quickly. If you haven't noticed your body will always give you excuses, it quits before your true failure. It's built to protect itself and go to the path of least resistance.
We can see this example as to why the body stores fat. Why starvation mode tells the body to save the fat even though we really don't need it. It's why we get tired, but we have the second wind that kicks in.
I believe it puts barriers there so that it can preserve itself so you don't get injured or so you can survive. It was an inhibitor in the past to keep you in survival mode before all these great evolution and technology. It's a dated system, but what the body wants can be changed just by changing our mental focus.
So, what if you can tap into that anytime? Well...you can but takes practice. Now do you need this in order to get to failure? Absolutely not, but it just becomes so much more efficient and useful if you master it.

This is kinda lengthy so I will leave you with this thought. I never enter the gym unless I'm in BEAST MODE mentality. Just as people put on uniform or have designated rooms to work to change their mood or mental phase. I use the gym to get into BEAST MODE the whole time. It's either all or none for me.
